A growing Legal 500 real estate finance team in the City is looking to appoint a senior lawyer at Director / Partner level to help drive the next phase of its growth. This role would suit either a dayâone Director with a strong upward trajectory over the past few years, or a seasoned property and finance lawyer with an established client following in real estate finance and corporate lending.
You will be joining a collaborative leadership group and working closely with the heads of the real estate finance and banking practices.
RoleThis is a handsâon leadership position with influence over the direction of the department. You will focus on building relationships with banks, alternative lenders, developers and corporate clients, leading complex finance transactions and continuing to grow the practice. Alongside your own caseload, you will play a key part in mentoring and developing junior lawyers, working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver joinedâup advice, and contributing to a culture that values quality, initiative and teamwork.
RequirementsYou will be a Partner or Director or be ready to step into the role. You will have a proven track record in real estate finance and corporate lending, including acting for specialist funders on secured loan originations, and be comfortable handling highâvalue transactions. Strong client relationships, a commercial mindset and a collaborative leadership style are essential.
