We are working with a leading London law firm on a senior associate-level position within their financial regulation practice. The team is well-regarded in the market and advises a broad client base across the retail financial services sector. The work spans consumer credit, payment services, mortgage regulation, FCA authorisations and emerging areas such as open banking and FinTech.
The firm has a strong culture of giving senior associates genuine ownership of matters and meaningful involvement in business development and client relationships.
This role would suit candidates with:
- 5-9 years of post-qualified experience in financial regulation or a related regulatory practice
- Experience advising on consumer credit, payment services regulation or mortgage conduct of business, with the ability to lead on matters with limited supervision
- Familiarity with the FCA regulatory framework, including the CCA, CONC, PSRs or MCOB
- Confidence engaging directly with clients and contributing to business development activity
- An interest in emerging areas such as open banking, FinTech, AI or digital financial services
