We are working with a leading international law firm in hiring a Derivatives Associate within their London team – this position sits within the wider Financial Markets, Structured Finance & Derivatives practice.

The team advises a broad range of financial institutions, investment banks, asset managers, corporates and other market participants on complex derivatives transactions across multiple asset classes. Their work spans interest rate, FX, equity, credit, commodity and inflation derivatives, as well as bespoke and structured hedging arrangements.

The practice undertakes a variety of derivatives and trading matters including ISDA master agreements, collateral and margin documentation, clearing arrangements, prime brokerage agreements, credit risk mitigation transactions, repos and securities lending. The team regularly advises on the derivatives aspects of financing, structured products, fund, regulatory and capital markets transactions.

On the advisory side, the team is heavily involved in financial markets regulation, advising clients on developments relating to EMIR, UK EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, benchmark regulation and broader regulatory reform impacting derivatives markets. The team also maintains a strong presence within industry bodies and market initiatives, contributing to the development of market documentation and industry best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Derivatives Associate who has at least 5 years' PQE and is looking to join a market-leading platform with significant client exposure and high-quality international work.
