We are working exclusively with a leading international law firm on a rare opportunity for a junior Banking & Finance Associate to join its Madrid office, supporting a market-leading English law banking practice.
This position is driven by the international nature of the work and presents an excellent opportunity for an England & Wales qualified lawyer seeking to relocate to Madrid while continuing to practice at the highest level.
The role sits within a close-knit and highly regarded banking team in Madrid, advising under English law and working seamlessly alongside the firm’s London banking group. The team acts for major financial institutions, sponsors, funds and corporates on a broad range of complex, cross-border financing matters, including acquisition finance, leveraged finance and general corporate lending.
The Firm’s Requirements
- The firm is seeking an England & Wales qualified Associate, NQ-1 years’ PQE (open to March 2026 qualifiers), with strong Banking & Finance experience gained at a leading UK or international firm.
- Candidates should be technically strong, commercially astute and keen to build a long-term career within a global platform.
