We are working with a leading London law firm on an associate-level position within their financial regulation practice. The team is well-regarded in the market and advises a broad client base across the retail financial services sector. The work spans consumer credit, payment services, mortgage regulation, FCA authorisations and emerging areas such as open banking and FinTech.

Associates are given genuine responsibility and direct client exposure from an early stage, with clear progression opportunities. This role would suit candidates with:

  • NQ-4 years of post-qualified experience in financial regulation or a related regulatory practice
  • Experience advising on consumer credit, payment services regulation or mortgage conduct of business
  • Familiarity with the FCA regulatory framework, including the CCA, CONC, PSRs or MCOB
  • A genuine interest in FinTech, digital financial services or emerging regulatory developments
  • The ability to manage their own workload and engage directly with partners and clients
