We are working with a leading global law firm on a position within their market-leading Derivatives and Structured Products practice in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most highly regarded finance teams in the City, working on complex, cross-border transactions for a core group of leading financial institutions, corporates, sponsors and other market participants.
The team sits within the firm's finance department and offers a balanced mix of transactional and advisory work spread across a broad range of asset classes, jurisdictions and product types. The practice covers structured equity and equity derivative products acting for both banks and counterparties, cash and synthetic prime brokerage, stock‑lending and repo markets, and a strong flow of rates and FX derivatives work, often in the context of larger transactions. The team works closely with colleagues across financial services, ECM, M&A and disputes, as well as a global network of derivatives specialists.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years post‑qualified experience in derivatives at a leading law firm
- Strong technical knowledge of derivatives products and financial markets
- Experience drafting, negotiating and advising on ISDA agreements, master agreements and related documentation
- Strong academic background and the ability to manage complex transactions with a high level of accuracy
