We are working with a leading global law firm on a senior associate position within their highly regarded TMT practice in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest and most highly regarded technology, media and telecommunications practices in the City, working closely with a market‑leading partner on some of the most complex and strategically significant technology regulatory mandates in the market.

The team advises a prestigious client base of major global technology platforms, financial institutions and multinational corporations on a broad range of data and digital regulatory matters. There is a specific need for a senior lawyer with strong data experience, given the significant growth in online safety and platform regulation. The work spans data protection and privacy, DSA and VLOP compliance, AI governance, NIS2, information governance and large‑scale technology contracts and outsourcing.

This position would suit a candidate with:

  • 4-7 years of post‑qualified experience in data protection, digital regulation or TMT at a leading City or international law firm
  • Strong experience advising on GDPR, UK data protection law and emerging digital regulatory frameworks including online safety and platform regulation
  • A non‑contentious, advisory‑focused practice with experience engaging with regulators including the ICO
  • Genuine interest in the developing landscape of technology and data regulation
