We are working with a leading Global law firm on a position within their highly regarded Corporate Tax practice in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most prestigious and well-regarded tax teams in the City at a mid-level, working alongside market-leading partners on some of the most complex and high-value corporate tax matters in the market.
The team is Band 1 ranked by Chambers and advises a broad range of major corporates, financial institutions and private equity sponsors across the full spectrum of corporate tax work. The practice spans the tax aspects of private equity and M&A transactions, financing and capital markets transactions, cross‑border structuring and reorganisations, distressed debt restructurings, investment fund work and HMRC disputes.
This position would suit a candidate with:
- 3 to 5 years post qualified experience in corporate tax at a leading City or international law firm, with some flexibility at either end for the right candidate
- A transactional and advisory tax practice with experience across M&A, financing transactions or capital markets matters
- Strong academic background and technical ability
- Experience at an International, Magic Circle, Silver Circle or leading US firm in London
The firm offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package (£160‑200k + significant bonus) with excellent long‑term progression opportunity within one of the leading tax practices in the market.
