We are working with a US law firm on an associate position within their Competition practice in London. The team advises on high-stakes antitrust defence and cross-border merger control, acting for major corporates and financial institutions across a broad range of sectors including financial services, payments, technology, pharma and energy.

The group has a strong bench of dual-qualified practitioners operating across both London and Brussels, with particular depth in merger clearances, cartel defence and abuse of dominance investigations. This is a strong opportunity for a competition associate to join a well-regarded team handling complex, multi-jurisdictional mandates at a busy and growing firm.

This position is ideally suited to an individual with:

  • 3-6 years PQE in competition law
  • Experience across merger control and/or antitrust investigations and defence
  • Exposure to cross-border and EU matters an advantage
  • Background at a leading City, international or US law firm
