A growing Legal 500 real estate finance team in the City is looking to appoint a senior lawyer at Director / Partner level to help drive the next phase of its growth. This role would suit either a day-one Director with a strong upward trajectory over the past few years, or a seasoned property and finance lawyer with an established client following in real estate finance and corporate lending.
You’ll be joining a collaborative leadership group and working closely with the heads of the real estate finance and banking practices.
The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership position with influence over the direction of the department. You’ll focus on building relationships with banks, alternative lenders, developers and corporate clients, leading complex finance transactions and continuing to grow the practice. Alongside your own caseload, you’ll play a key part in mentoring and developing junior lawyers, working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up advice, and contributing to a culture that values quality, initiative and teamwork.
RequirementsYou will be a Partner or Director or be ready to step into the role. You’ll have a proven track record in real estate finance and corporate lending, including acting for specialist funders on secured loan originations, and be comfortable handling high-value transactions. Strong client relationships, a commercial mindset and a collaborative leadership style are essential.
