This Top 200 firm is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join their flourishing Employment Department. They like to grow organically, so there is a clear pathway to Partnership with this role. The Role
This firm is currently seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor to join their West End, London office. The team is busy and due to an influx of new work. You will work with the partners to drive the department forward, whilst mentoring and supporting the more junior members of the team. The employment department currently consists of a team of five, they work under the litigation department. Litigation is a core focus for the firm. You will work closely with the wider litigation team and corporate and commercial departments. The firm has recently had a large uptick in instructions as a result of multiple client wins, and new partner hires. There is excellent communication and collaboration running through the whole firm. You will work as part of this growing, professional, and vibrant employment team.
You will find that you will work across a broad range of industry sectors which will make for an interesting caseload. They work with many household names and well-known public figures, but they also work with smaller and large publishers, hospitality, media, technology companies, app developers, OMB businesses, and foreign companies that are coming to London to set up shop. You will deal with both contentious and non-contentious employment work, both for companies and individuals. The caseload will include but not be limited to; Settlement agreements, dismissals, restrictive covenants, senior executive, discrimination, disciplinary, restructuring, TUPE and corporate support.
Requirements
You will be an Employment Solicitor with at least 4 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience). You should have experience of developing and winning new business. You will have had good experience dealing with a broad palette of employment work. Experience in mentoring and leading more junior lawyers is to advantage but is not essential. Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your background.
