Residential Property Partner – Wimbledon
A long-established South West London firm with a rich heritage is seeking a Residential Property Partner to lead its residential property department as part of planned succession.
This is a strategic appointment for an ambitious partner ready to step into a leadership role, take ownership of the department, and play a fundamental role in shaping its future direction.
The Role
You will lead and develop the residential property team, which handles a broad range of high-value conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, as well as transfers of equity for properties with values in the millions. Alongside managing your own caseload, you will mentor junior solicitors, cultivate referral relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the department.
The firm is looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on and values collaboration. You will be given the opportunity to join the equity path.
About You
You will be an established Residential Property Partner, ideally with a book of business to bring to the firm. You will have a proven track record in high-value residential conveyancing, including leasehold, freehold, and transfers of equity, and enjoy mentoring and developing junior team members. Commercially minded and client-focused, you will be motivated by the opportunity to lead and grow a department within a respected, well-run firm.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to join a South West London firm with a strong local reputation and a loyal client base. You will be given autonomy, support, and the platform to grow the residential property team while progressing on the equity track. The role combines the stability of a long-established practice with the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
