Senior Associate – Private Client

A well-established Legal 500 private client team in London is looking to hire a Senior Associate as part of its thriving development and continued growth.

The Role

This is a strong, busy practice with a reputation for handling complex, high-value private client work for individuals, families and trustees in the UK and overseas. Some of the client base is international, giving you an interesting and varied caseload.

You will be working closely with partners on matters including estate and succession planning, trust and wealth structuring, inheritance tax planning, residency and domicile issues, and cross-border advice.

The role also covers advising trustees and beneficiaries, mental capacity matters, philanthropy and charity work, and UK residential property structures involving IHT, CGT, SDLT and ATED.

This would suit a private client solicitor who enjoys technically demanding work, values proper client relationships and wants to develop their career within a team that is well regarded in the market.

The department specialises in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Requirements

You will be England & Wales qualified with experience in a good quality private client practice and confident running matters.
