A leading UK Top 100 law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its Corporate Regulation team within the Commercial Litigation department in London.

The Corporate Regulation practice sits at the forefront of regulatory change, advising a diverse client base including high-profile corporates, regulatory bodies and government departments. The team is known for its expertise in navigating evolving compliance and corporate responsibility frameworks, often contributing to industry consultations, media commentary and policy discussions. Its work is fast-paced, collaborative, and frequently involves cross-departmental input across the firm.
The Role
The firm is now looking to appoint a Senior Associate to support the continued growth of its Corporate Regulation offering in London. You will advise on a broad range of complex regulatory and compliance matters, with a particular focus on data protection and an emerging emphasis on AI-related obligations. The role will involve working on large-scale government consultations, corporate responsibility and reputation management issues, and sector-specific regulatory frameworks, including a recognised niche in private land and parking management.
This is a varied and high-profile position offering genuine scope to shape the direction of the practice. You will lead matters from inception to completion, support business development initiatives, and play an active role in mentoring and developing junior team members, while contributing to the team’s growing market presence.
Requirements
- England & Wales qualified lawyer with 6+ years’ PQE in corporate regulatory or compliance matters
- Strong technical expertise in data protection and broader regulatory frameworks
- An interest in AI and its impact on corporate governance and compliance
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently
- Demonstrable experience in business development and client relationship management
- Strong communication, drafting and analytical skills
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
- A commercial, ambitious and collaborative approach
