A long-established North London law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join its busy and growing Finchley office, offering high-quality conveyancing work, excellent support and genuine long-term progression.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-regarded multi-service practice with a strong presence across North London and an excellent reputation within the local property market. The firm acts for a broad client base including first-time buyers, high-net-worth individuals, investors, families and repeat private clients, handling a consistent flow of residential property instructions across London and the surrounding areas.
Its residential property department has developed a strong reputation for delivering a responsive, commercially minded and client-focused service, generating a high level of repeat business and referrals from long-standing clients, estate agents and introducers. The team combines the quality and technical standards of a larger practice with the culture and flexibility of a more personable regional firm. Lawyers are encouraged to take ownership of their work early, build client relationships and progress their careers within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will join a residential property team handling a varied caseload of matters including:
- Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- Buy-to-let and investment purchases
- Leasehold matters and lease extensions
- New build transactions
- Supporting senior lawyers on more complex and higher-value matters
The role offers excellent exposure to quality residential work, direct client contact and the opportunity to continue developing your technical and commercial skillset within a highly regarded property team. You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers whilst gradually increasing autonomy over your own caseload and client relationships.
Requirements
- NQ–3 PQE Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Experience in residential conveyancing gained during training or post-qualification
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Organised, proactive and commercially aware
- Able to manage multiple matters effectively
- Keen to develop within a respected and growing North London practice
