Media Disputes Solicitor (4+ PQE)
We are working closely with a boutique, Legal 500 specialist firm acting for clients across the entertainment, media and creative industries, who are looking to hire a Media Disputes Solicitor (4+ PQE).
The firm works extensively with clients across music, publishing, broadcast and digital media, advising on complex and often high-profile disputes including defamation, privacy and data protection.
If you are a Media Disputes Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE who has developed a strong track record within your field and are looking to work with well-known clients operating within the entertainment and media industries, then we would be interested in speaking with you.
This is an opportunity to work alongside Lawyers who are specialists in their respective areas, with a high level of client contact and exposure to interesting and complex litigation from an early stage.
The work will include:
- Advising clients across the media and entertainment industries on a broad range of contentious matters.
- Working with clients within music, publishing, broadcast, digital media and related sectors.
- Managing disputes from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Advising on litigation strategy, commercial risk and settlement.
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and other litigation documentation.
- Negotiations, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.
- Opportunity to be involved in complex and high-profile litigation.
- This role will suit a solicitor who excels in their area of practice, with strong technical ability and a track record of handling challenging and complex disputes.
Sector experience is preferred, particularly experience acting for clients within the media and entertainment industries, including music, publishing, broadcast or digital media.
