A highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked South East firm is seeking a Corporate Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its highly respected team in Guildford.

Despite its regional location, the firm regularly competes with City practices on complex and high-value transactions, supported by a full suite of specialist teams including tax, employment, banking, real estate and regulatory.
The Role
The firm is now looking to recruit a Corporate Associate (2–4 PQE) into its Guildford office. You will work on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- Mid-market M&A (buy-side and sell-side)
- Private equity transactions and management advisory work
- Venture capital and equity fundraisings
- Shareholders’ agreements and joint ventures
- Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
- General corporate advisory and partnership matters
- Cross-border transactions and inward investment work
- Share incentive arrangements
You will support on complex, high-value transactions while also taking increasing responsibility for managing matters independently. In addition, you will:
- Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on major transactions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across a diverse client base
- Collaborate with specialist teams across tax, employment, banking, real estate and regulatory
- Play an active role in supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development
- Engage in business development and networking activities as the role progresses

Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 2–4 years PQE in Corporate law
- Strong experience in M&A and/or broader corporate transactional work
- Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness

- Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
- A team player with a proactive and ambitious mindset
