The Role
You will join the growing corporate team in the City of London, working alongside the Head of Corporate and supporting clients across a broad mix of corporate and commercial matters. The work will cover company formations, articles, shareholders' and investment agreements, partnership agreements, EMI and other share option arrangements, board and shareholder resolutions and general Companies Act advice. You will also be involved in M&A transactions, running smaller deals yourself and supporting on larger ones, including SPAs, loan and security documents, due diligence and transaction management. A distinctive part of the practice is advising businesses transitioning to employee ownership, and you will play a key role in these transactions as your experience grows. The role is highly client facing, with plenty of scope to manage your own matters and build longâterm relationships.
Requirements
- England & Wales qualified with circa 4 PQE
- Good experience across a broad range of corporate and company law matters
- Confident dealing directly with clients and running your own caseload
- Organised, detailâfocused and comfortable working in a handsâon environment
- Enjoy being part of a closeâknit, growing team
