Banking & Finance Partner | London
This leading Top 100 firm is currently looking to hire an experienced Banking & Finance Partner.
This is an opportunity to become part of an established banking and finance practice acting for UK and international lenders, borrowers, investment funds and corporate clients across a broad range of financing transactions.
The team advises on complex domestic and cross-border matters including acquisition finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, refinancing, leveraged finance, development finance and general banking transactions.
Clients include financial institutions, private lenders, funds, owner-managed businesses and high-growth companies operating across a variety of sectors.
You will play a key role in advising clients on high-value transactions while working closely with colleagues across the firm's Corporate, Real Estate, Private Wealth and Commercial departments.
The Role
- Advising lenders and borrowers on a broad spectrum of banking and finance transactions.
- Acting on acquisition finance, corporate lending, real estate finance, development finance and refinancing matters.
- Advising on secured and unsecured lending arrangements.
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation and intercreditor arrangements.
- Working closely with corporate teams on transactional financings.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
- Supporting business development initiatives and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
Requirements
- Significant experience within Banking & Finance gained at a recognised City, West End or leading regional firm.
- Strong technical expertise across a broad range of financing transactions.
- Experience acting for banks, alternative lenders, private credit providers, borrowers and corporate clients.
