This Legal 500 firm is looking for an Insolvency Partner to join its growing London office. The firm has expanded in recent years and is continuing to invest in its Dispute Resolution and Insolvency offering.

The Role

The firm is seeking to hire an Insolvency Partner. You'll advise a varied client base across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, acting for companies, directors, creditors, lenders, shareholders, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders. The work will include areas such as:

  • Corporate and personal insolvency
  • Director and shareholder disputes
  • Wrongful and fraudulent trading
  • Transactions at undervalue and preferences
  • Asset recovery and enforcement
  • Creditor and lender disputes
  • Insolvency litigation and restructuring-related disputes
  • Advising insolvency practitioners and office-holders

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in developing the firm’s insolvency offering, with genuine scope to build a practice, develop client relationships and shape the direction of the department.

Requirements:

  • You will be an Insolvency Partner with a strong track record in insolvency
  • Strong experience across contentious insolvency and related commercial disputes
  • A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Commercially minded with strong business development skills
  • Ambitious and interested in helping grow a practice
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely with colleagues across the firm
