This Legal 500 ranked firm are looking for a Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop their growing conveyancing department in Central London.

The Firm:

This modern specialist firm has grown from a handful of staff to more than 70 across the business. Expertise spanning across both commercial and residential property, litigation and private wealth.

The Role:

The firm is recruiting for a Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop their busy conveyancing department, covering both residential and commercial work. This is a senior leadership position, responsible for the performance, quality and strategic development of the department. You will maintain the firm's CQS accreditation and lender panel memberships, and ensure compliance with SRA guidance and the Conveyancing Protocol. You will monitor departmental performance, report into senior management, and identify opportunities to drive efficiency, including through new technology. You will have a focus on the firm's business development, supporting the development of future team leaders and supervisors within the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in residential and commercial conveyancing.
  • Experience managing a busy conveyancing team, with strong leadership and mentoring ability.
  • In-depth knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures, with strong commercial awareness.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Salary & Benefits:

Extremely competitive salary of up to £120,000. Benefits include life insurance, company pension, private medical insurance.
