Litigation Solicitor (4+ PQE) - Romford, Essex
An excellent opportunity for an ambitious 4+ PQE Litigation Solicitor to work alongside the firm's Senior Litigation Solicitor on a genuinely varied caseload, joining at a pivotal time for the department.

The Role
You will work alongside the firm's Senior Litigation Solicitor, handling a broad and varied caseload of general litigation with a particular focus on contentious probate, an area the firm is actively looking to grow, alongside nuisance and professional negligence matters.
You will also supervise a junior paralegal across landlord and tenant matters, building disputes, eviction and debt recovery.
The work will include but is not limited to advising commercial and individual clients on inheritance disputes, landlord and tenant matters, breach of contract claims, debt recovery, insolvency, negligence and commercial litigation, including drafting of legal documents, coordinating with counsel and clients, and preparing court documents for trial and hearings.
This is an opportunity to further develop your technical ability while mentoring junior team members, with the firm open to supporting growth in any particular area of litigation specialism you bring — contentious probate especially, given the firm's current growth plans in this area. With the department set to grow further, there is genuine scope to progress into a senior leadership role as the team develops.
Requirements
- 4+ PQE Solicitor with general litigation experience
