Dispute Resolution Solicitor (5+ PQE)

We're working closely with a Top Tier Legal 500 law firm that is looking to recruit an experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing litigation team in South Devon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator looking to join a well-respected team with a broad and varied caseload.

Role

You’ll manage a varied caseload of dispute resolution matters, including:

• Commercial litigation
• Commercial property disputes
• Property litigation
• Contentious trusts and probate
• Construction disputes

There is also the opportunity to develop a specialism in one or more of these areas as your career progresses.

The department consists of 9 fee earners and there is room to grow with hiring 2 additional fee earners. You’ll work closely with experienced senior lawyers while managing your own files and will have the opportunity to get involved in networking and business development to support the continued growth of the department.

You’ll be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with circa 5 years PQE or equivalent experience in dispute resolution. We’re looking for someone who has experience of County Court and/or High Court litigation together with knowledge of some or all of the following:

• Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
• Commercial litigation, including shareholder, partnership and joint venture disputes
• Property disputes, including boundary disputes, easements, restrictive covenants and adverse possession
• Residential possession claims
• Contentious probate and trust disputes
• Construction disputes
