The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate and commercial paralegal looking to build their experience. You will join the Corporate and Commercial team in South West London, supporting fee earners on a varied range of transactional and advisory work for clients across the healthcare sector.
Your work will include assisting on the sale and purchase of healthcare businesses, preparing first drafts of transactional documents, managing due diligence and data rooms, carrying out regulatory and Companies House searches, handling completion and post-completion matters, and supporting on commercial contracts for healthcare providers.
You will work closely with colleagues across the firm, benefiting from strong crossover between departments and genuine exposure to client work, with the support and training to develop your career.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience as a paralegal in a corporate and/or commercial team
- Experience of, or a strong interest in, the healthcare sector
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
- A proactive approach and the confidence to work closely with fee earners and clients
