Responsibilities:

  • Provide a technical service to customers, including the maintenance and repair of Ricoh Graphic Communication and Print products.
  • Ensure customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.
  • Provide a technical service for both installation and de-installation of Ricoh Graphic Communication products, ensuring that project milestones for installations and de-installations are achieved efficiently meeting contractual obligations.
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date on the progress made.
  • Responsible for the timely escalation of technical problems as specified within Service processes, to ensure the downtime of equipment is kept to a minimum.
  • Maximise revenue by identifying additional business and professional service opportunities while carrying out day-to-day duties.
  • Support the management of business relationships with customers and end users in order to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and control vehicle stock to improve first time fix levels to customers and minimise stock losses.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Field Technician role, preferably within the Production Print sector.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the full range of RGC product range.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven fault finding technique.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Skilled in the use of electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • Ability to read and understand complex mechanical instructions.
  • IT literate.
  • Networking capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Company Service procedures.
