This brand-new role as Global Commercial Strategy & Operations Lead is your opportunity to work at the heart of our global go-to-market success. You’ll collaborate across LATAM, North America, Europe, Japan, and APAC to drive commercial strategy, support high-impact deals, and build the structures and systems we need to grow, whilst supporting local sales teams.

What you will be doing
- Drive global growth for our WEX portfolio across SaaS and smart hardware
- Shape commercial strategy and turn insights into actionable GTM plans
- Support regional teams in new logo acquisition, account expansion, and market prioritisation
- Provide deal support on complex, strategic opportunities—without owning a quota
- Translate real-world sales feedback into improvements in pricing, positioning, and product
- Establish repeatable commercial processes, playbooks, and forecasting systems
- Champion cross-regional alignment and rhythm of business operations
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation to embed a commercial lens in everything we do
You’ll thrive in this role if you have experience or skills across the following:
- Ideal candidates will have proven experience in a similar role with a strong track record in SaaS, workplace tech, or smart devices—with a clear grasp of effective go-to-market execution
- Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate how they collaborate easily with sales teams and support their success, without being directly in sales
- Preferably you will be able to break down complex topics like pricing, messaging, and market positioning into clear, actionable insights
- Ideally you will be experienced in navigating global teams with ease, building strong relationships across time zones and cultures
- To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) which are essential for articulating strategy, presenting to stakeholders (internal and potentially external), and simplifying complexity.
- Successful candidates will enjoy tackling commercial challenges head-on, blending big-picture strategy with hands-on action
- Preferably you will be able to demonstrate advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving skills. Plus be able to develop effective strategies and solutions, alongside the ability to analyse complex situations involving market dynamics, sales performance, operational inefficiencies, and competitive threats.
- Ideally you will be confident in evaluating different GTM approaches, pricing structures, and operational models. Plus be able to simplify complex concepts (product positioning, commercial models) for diverse audiences.
- Preferably you will be able to embrace ambiguity, take ownership, and thrive on creating structure in fast-moving environments.
