Ricoh Capital Europe (RCE) plays a pivotal role in Ricoh’s EMEA operations, contributing around 30% of annual trading profit. Present in 17 European countries, we are central to Ricoh’s strategy of generating annuity revenue. As part of our ongoing transformation, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the development of innovative finance solutions within our IT, Cloud, and Cyber portfolio.

This newly created position reports to the New Business Director and is key to shaping Ricoh Capital’s finance offering across Europe. You will drive IT finance penetration, develop “as‑a‑service” propositions, and work with both internal teams and strategic vendor partners to deliver profitable, compliant solutions. You will also manage relationships with approved third‑party funders where necessary. Success is measured by volume, finance penetration, and your ability to become a trusted partner to Sales and portfolio teams.

What you will be doing

Drive finance penetration across IT product portfolios, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Develop and present Daas and “as‑a‑service” financing solutions for local and international opportunities.

Collaborate with Strategic Alliances to optimize profitability with vendor partners.

Support Financial Solutions Managers with IT funding expertise and deal structuring.

Reduce reliance on third‑party funding while maximizing Ricoh Capital’s financing role.

Educate sales teams on cash vs. lease, TCO, and annuity‑led approaches.

Integrate Ricoh Capital solutions into bid processes, proposals, and customer meetings.

Track performance, analyse market feedback, and drive continuous improvement.

You will ideally have

Experience: Extensive experience in captive or vendor finance, ideally with IT/aaS leasing experience.

Skills: Strong relationship management, business development, pricing, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Knowledge: European/global leasing experience, understanding of consumption and “as‑a‑service” models, ability to structure multi‑country deals.

Personal Attributes: High energy, strategic and tactical mindset, creativity in problem‑solving, empathy, and the ability to influence cross‑cultural teams.
