Volunteer With Us at Restoration Shack’s Woodworking Workshop! We’re looking for friendly, hands‑on volunteers to join our Woodworking Workshop and help us craft, sand, upcycle, and restore wooden furniture – plus create new items like shelves, planters, and benches. Every piece made helps fund our support services for adults facing mental health challenges, learning disabilities, loneliness, social exclusion, and those ready to make positive changes in their lives. Whether you’re an experienced DIYer, a retired tradesperson, or a complete beginner wanting to get stuck in, we’d love to have you on the team. All proceeds from sales go straight back into our charity to support vulnerable adults with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Sand, restore, and upcycle wooden furniture
- Help create new wooden items
- Work alongside others in a friendly, inclusive workshop
- Share ideas for products and workshop improvements
- Use tools safely (training provided)
- Support the charity’s mission through ethical reuse of materials
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Willingness to get involved with practical tasks
