Description

Do you have a passion for supporting others? This role will involve assisting the Wellbeing Team with making regular phone calls to isolated/lonely individuals. Support will be required to complete benefit claim forms, housing applications and general form filling. The ability to signpost individuals to other support services such as mental health services will be required. Clear and effective communication will be required to support individuals for whom English isn't their first language and those that might have additional support requirements. We are looking for an individual to volunteer once a week for one to three hours preferably on a Tuesday morning.

Requirements

  • You will be required to have a DBS check which will be submitted by ourselves.
  • You will be reimbursed with vehicle travel expenses.
