Our nationwide client is seeking a Valuation Director to join their London Commercial Valuation Team. This role encompasses all areas of commercial valuation, with a strong emphasis on central London & the South East for loan security, accounts, and general advisory purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting valuations of high-value properties, including Central London trophy assets.
  • Preparing concise, informative, and accurate valuation reports, which you will sign off.
  • Managing valuation instructions independently while collaborating with the wider Commercial team.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships with institutional investors, high street lenders, institutional funds, challenger banks, public sector bodies, local authorities, and developers.
  • Establishing and growing a personal network of contacts within and outside the firm.
  • Mentoring graduate colleagues in their APC preparations.

  • Working alongside fellow Directors to maintain best practices.
  • Operating efficiently and autonomously.
  • Participating in the firm’s CPD program.
  • Collaborating openly with colleagues across the business to identify and realise new business opportunities.
  • Contributing to the firm’s strategic ambitions.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proficiency in valuation software, including Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, and KEL.
Core Skills:
  • Strong Commercial background.
  • Pragmatic approach to business and property issues.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Flexibility and resilience.
  • Knowledge of the RICS Red Book.
Background/Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in preparing RICS Red Book Valuations for residential lending, corporate valuations, and consultancy advice. Residential experience is also welcomed but Commercial experience is imperative.
  • MRICS/Registered Valuer.
