Our client is a specialist property management business with a market leading reputation built on delivering a bespoke service on behalf of both clients and occupiers across their UK-wide commercial property portfolio. The business believes in a forward thinking approach to real estate management, with innovations in placemaking, proptech and ESG at the forefront of their business model.
Due to continued growth and success, we are now working in partnership to facilitate the recruitment of a Senior Surveyor hire based in their West Midlands office. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day property management of a regional portfolio, including light industrial and retail parks for a single client.
- Managing properties effectively to maximise value and minimise voids.
- Overseeing rent, service charge, and insurance collections.
- Preparing and managing service charge budgets and reconciliations.
- Handling insurance claims and additional fee issuance.
- Coordinating with facilities management on maintenance and inspections.
- Conducting regular site visits and ensuring properties are well maintained.
- Communicating proactively with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- MRICS qualification or 4+ years in commercial property management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial leases, service charges, and landlord-tenant regulations.
- Ability to work independently and make informed management decisions.
- Understanding of health & safety legislation and property maintenance.
- A full, clean driving licence.
