Commercial Property Management Surveyor

Location: London

Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join my client’s Commercial Property Management team based in London. You'll take ownership of a varied and dynamic portfolio of commercial assets across London and the South East, working with clients that include funds, developers, private investors, and property companies.

The role calls for a confident self-starter with a strong client focus. Someone equally comfortable resolving operational issues, identifying asset enhancement opportunities, and representing my client externally. It’s also a fantastic chance to join a collaborative and growing team in an organisation that values initiative and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse commercial property portfolio, including multi-let and single-let assets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, agents, and contractors
  • Identifying and delivering asset management opportunities across the portfolio
  • Leading on day-to-day management issues with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Finance, FM & Legal)
  • Preparing and presenting updates during client meetings and following through on agreed actions
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development
  • Supporting business development through pitches, presentations, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Producing and reviewing service charge budgets, managing lease compliance, and processing occupier applications
  • Driving continuous improvement in operational practices, client service, and stakeholder engagement

About You

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards it)
  • Solid background or keen interest in commercial property management
  • Demonstrable experience resolving operational challenges and delivering high-quality client service
  • Confident in managing a busy and varied caseload
  • Skilled at working with a wide range of client types
  • Competent in property management systems and Microsoft Office (experience with TBS a plus)
  • Able to develop and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Proactive in gathering and acting on client feedback
  • Aware of current property market trends and implications for clients
  • Clear and engaging in both technical and commercial discussions
  • A team player who supports colleagues and shares knowledge freely
  • Strong listening skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ambitious and invested in continuous development
  • Organised and able to manage competing demands effectively
  • Reputation for producing high-quality, accurate work
  • Skilled at gathering data and using insights to support decisions
  • Committed to raising the bar for team performance and client delivery
