My client is a leading commercial real estate consultancy with a strong UK and Ireland presence, advising investors, developers, and occupiers across both the public and private sectors. A key strength of the business is valuation, including specialist expertise in land assembly and compulsory purchase.
The team is currently advising on a wide range of high-profile public and private sector projects across the South East, West Midlands, and North West, offering exposure to complex and impactful work.
The Role
My client has a couple of opportunities within their national Land Assembly & Compulsory Purchase team, where you’ll work on varied and meaningful projects that directly impact clients’ businesses. You’ll collaborate with experienced specialists across the UK while building strong client relationships across local authorities, infrastructure providers, lenders, and developers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising on compulsory purchase law, procedures, and best practice
- Acting for landowners and occupiers on consultation, acquisition, and compensation
- Providing valuation advice and preparing compensation claims, including disturbance
- Advising on objections, Public Inquiries, and DCO examinations
- Negotiating with acquiring authorities
- Providing expert witness evidence where required
About You
- Chartered surveyor with experience in CPO matters or a valuation background looking to switch
- Strong interest in property, construction, and infrastructure
