Working in the Real Estate Accounting Services team where the individual will be responsible for a range of service charge work across a varied client property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with our third-party partners to ensure closure of annual service charge reconciliations across a variety of complex assets in line with RICS guidelines and agreed SLAs.
- Reviewing income demanded in the year and ensuring all occupiers are correctly billed.
- Reviewing Tenant apportionment and undertaking CAP calculations.
- Reviewing expenditure to ensure it has been coded correctly in line with budget.
- Calculating, recommending, and posting accruals and prepayments.
- Case Managing the Service Charge end to end process for assigned allocation.
- Assisting our internal stakeholders with closing off annual property budgets in line with RICS guidelines and agreed SLAs.
- Preparing reconciliation of clients’ service charge funds.
- Working closely with other teams within REAS to provide exceptional outcomes to our client.
- Responsible for Training other team members passing on knowledge and skills particularly to new members of staff.
- Presenting to wider business changes and updates on Service Charge process.
