The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Chartered Surveyor to join their Valuation & Advisory team, primarily focusing on loan security work. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and motivated surveyor to develop their career within a supportive, client-facing environment. The team undertakes a wide range of valuations across Greater London and the Home Counties for loan security, financial reporting, acquisitions, disposals, tax planning and portfolio purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver RICS Red Book valuations across commercial and residential assets, including retail, office, industrial and development sites.
- Undertake loan security valuations for a range of lenders and panels.
- Carry out inspections, measurements and market research to support detailed reporting.
- Liaise with clients, lenders and professional advisers throughout instructions.
- Manage a varied caseload, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Support business development and client relationship initiatives.
- Attend client meetings and industry events as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues across service lines and assist junior team members where appropriate.
About You
- MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer.
- Strong valuation experience across multiple asset classes.
- Familiarity with lender requirements and loan security panels.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and report-writing skills.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and valuation software such as Argus Developer, Argus Enterprise, Valos and/or KEL.
