My client, established in 2004 as a specialist property & asset management advisory firm, has over £400 million in assets under management. They’re proud to deliver first-class service across a diverse commercial portfolio. Their assets stretch nationwide—from Brighton to Cardiff, Newcastle to Romford—and their clients range from UK-based investors to high-net-worth individuals and European funds. Their London-based office is home to 25 passionate professionals, including surveyors, facilities managers, and account staff—all driven by a commitment to quality and service.

The Role: My client is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to take over a key role within their 3-person management team. You’ll be stepping into the shoes of a senior member who’s been integral to the business for over a decade. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor two junior colleagues, manage a wide-ranging commercial portfolio (including some mixed-use assets), and become a trusted point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day commercial property management of a nationwide portfolio (primarily London-based)
  • Setting and managing service charge budgets
  • Handling lease renewals, dilapidations, LTAs, and refurbishments
  • Managing M&E issues and overseeing general maintenance
  • Liaising with leaseholders on mixed-use assets
  • Providing top-tier client service—this is a client-facing role
  • Mentoring and leading two junior team members

Skills & Experience:

  • MRICS qualified (strongly preferred)
  • Ideally 2+ years PQE in commercial property management
  • Experience with service charge budgets, lease advisory work, and project oversight
  • Confident, well-presented, and comfortable dealing directly with clients
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity with clear career progression (next step: Associate Director, then Director)
  • A proactive and personable team player

The Offer:

  • Salary: £60,000–£70,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus scheme (typically paid at Christmas)
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office / 2 from home (full-time in office during 6-month probation, with flexibility based on the individual)
