Are you an ambitious valuation professional looking to develop your international real estate experience and work on cross-border assignments across EMEA?

My international client is looking for a Surveyor/Senior Surveyor to join their International Valuation team in London, working primarily on fund valuation assignments across multiple markets &asset classes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with international clients, regional property teams and capital markets specialists, delivering high-quality valuations and market insights to support investment, lending and financial reporting decisions.

You’ll play a key role in managing valuation assignments, reviewing reports, analysing market data and ensuring consistently high standards of technical quality. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues, contributing to quality assurance, knowledge sharing and the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and delivery of international valuation assignments across EMEA, including project coordination, valuation reviews and client reporting.
  • Undertake valuations for fund reporting, loan security, accounting and investment purposes.
  • Carry out property inspections, research market evidence and analyse comparable transactions across multiple asset classes and geographies.
  • Prepare valuation models, calculations and reports, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
  • Review and interrogate valuations, assumptions and reports to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Work closely with international colleagues and clients to deliver a high-quality, consistent service.
  • Support quality assurance and the review of work completed by the wider valuation team.
  • Contribute to business development, client proposals, market intelligence and the mentoring of junior colleagues.

About You

You’ll be an analytical, commercially minded property professional with a strong technical understanding of valuation methodology and a keen interest in international real estate markets.

My client is looking for someone who brings:

  • A degree in Real Estate, Surveying or a related discipline.
  • MRICS qualification, or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of property valuation methodologies, market analysis and relevant valuation standards.
  • Experience with valuation software, particularly Argus Enterprise, alongside strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to critically review valuation assumptions and outputs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with clients and colleagues across different markets.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with DCF valuation experience and advanced Excel modelling skills. Additional language skills and international real estate experience would be highly advantageous. Experience with Power BI and other data analytics tools would also be beneficial.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse, cross-border valuation assignments, broaden your exposure to international property markets and collaborate with experienced professionals across a connected, multi-location team.
