A well-established commercial property consultancy is seeking a skilled and motivatedHealth & Safety Managerto support its expanding operations across a diverse commercial property portfolio. This is a key position within the organisations Health & Safety function, offering the opportunity to shape and maintain high standards of compliance across managed sites and internal operations.
The Role:
You will provide day-to-day support for health and safety matters across a portfolio of commercial properties, helping to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and implementation of company-wide health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide practical H&S advice to staff across regional sites and offices.
- Assist in developing and delivering internal H&S training sessions.
- Offer guidance on the use of digital H&S platforms and compliance systems.
- Carry out site-specific risk assessments and audits.
- Maintain documentation in line with ISO 45001 standards.
- Support incident response and investigation processes, including liaison with external agencies where required.
- Participate in regular internal H&S meetings.
- Engage with clients on H&S-related matters as appropriate.
- Take on responsibilities such as Fire Warden and First Aider for designated office(s).
- Monitor legislative developments and make recommendations in line with industry best practice.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a health and safety role, ideally within the property or facilities management sector.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
- Strong knowledge of fire safety in commercial or managed property environments.
- Relevant qualifications and industry memberships.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience using digital risk management platforms (Desirable)
