Job Summary
Varndean School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Teaching Assistant (Level C). 35 hours per week, term time only. Grade 5 points 13 to 17 – £29,064 – £31,022, actual starting salary: £23,818.
Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, compassionate, and proactive professional to lead and develop our well-established Hub provision, supporting neurodivergent learners and students with additional and complex needs. The Hub is a part of Varndean\'s inclusive practice, providing structured, relational support and working closely with staff, families, and external professionals to support engagement, regulation, and access to learning. Varndean is a popular and successful inclusive secondary school with a strong reputation for supporting students with SEND.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Hub provision.
- Support neurodivergent learners and students with additional and complex needs.
- Work closely with staff, families, and external professionals to support engagement, regulation, and access to learning.
