The Visual Merchandiser – Retail Standards and Execution is responsible for delivering a consistent, commercially effective shop floor experience across all retail environments. Working closely with the Visual Merchandising Manager, this role leads the development of VM standards and seasonal directives, using the VM Studio to test and refine concepts before rollout. This role also supports in coordinating launches, driving execution, and maintaining standards across stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • VM Standards & Shop Floor Development
    • Partner with the VM Manager to create and evolve global VM standards and shop floor guidelines.
    • Support in the creative process for rail and table planning within the VM Studio, translating outputs into clear VM directives.
    • Ensure all standards align with brand expectations and commercial goals as well as being practical and scalable.
  • Seasonal Planning & Directives
    • Own the creation of documents for seasonal floor directives, in collaboration with the VM Manager.
    • Translate collection plans and product flow into clear, actionable VM guidance.
    • Coordinate and circulate all VM communications, product lists and directives to stores.
  • Launch Coordination & Execution
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to align launch dates, product arrivals, and VM timelines.
    • Execute monthly seasonal launches for UK stores, pop-ups, and wholesale partners, requiring flexibility to work outside of normal trading hours.
    • Act as a key contact for store queries related to product display and visual standards.
  • Store Execution & Training
    • Conduct weekly visits to UK stores to maintain standards and review product performance to identify improvements.
    • Deliver VM standards training to all US and UK store teams.
    • Support shop-in-shop and wholesale environments in both set up and take down as well as regular visits to maintain consistency with brand expectations.
  • Review & Feedback
    • Review monthly store submissions in partnership with the VM manager and provide structured feedback on shop floor execution.
    • Support the VM Manager in maintaining overall execution quality across stores.
    • Own the approval process in Zipline for weekly table updates and bi-weekly shop floor updates.
  • VM Operations
    • Support VM calendar planning and execution timelines including liaising with merchandising teams on expected product arrival dates and delivery schedules.
    • Manage VM equipment and display props.
    • Ensure all VM documentation is clear, accessible, and up to date.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising.
  • Strong understanding of commercial VM and product merchandising.
  • Experience creating VM guidelines and directives.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
