The Store Operations Assistant supports the stockroom and shop floor teams by ensuring efficient product flow, accurate inventory handling, and consistent stockroom organisation. This role is responsible for executing key operational tasks including deliveries, replenishment, stockroom organisation, and inventory support to ensure product availability and a smooth back-of-house operation.

Working closely with the Store Operations Lead, this role helps maintain high operational standards and contributes to an efficient, well-organised, and customer-ready store environment.

  • Follow stockroom systems and procedures as directed by the Store Operations Lead.
  • Replenishment & Shop Floor Support
    • Replenish the shop floor accurately and in line with sales priorities.
    • Respond promptly to stock requests from the retail team.
    • Support product availability by maintaining core ranges and best sellers on the floor.
    • Flag stock shortages, gaps, or high-demand items to the Store Operations Lead.
  • Inventory Support & Accuracy
    • Assist in preparation for full and half-year stock takes.
    • Report discrepancies, missing stock, or damage to the Store Operations Lead.
    • Follow all inventory processes to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
  • Seasonal Preparation & Space Support
    • Support implementation of seasonal stockroom layouts as directed by the Store Operations Lead.
    • Assist in reorganising stock by category, season, or collection.
    • Support execution of stockroom adjustments during peak trading periods.
    • Identify and report damaged or faulty stock immediately.
  • Store Supplies Support
    • Monitor supply levels and report replenishment needs to the Store Operations Lead.
    • Follow all health & safety and manual handling procedures.

Previous retail, stockroom, or warehouse experience preferred but not essential. Comfortable with manual handling and fast-paced environments. Basic experience with POS or inventory systems is beneficial. Fully flexible, including availability for weekends, peak seasons, and changing business demands.
