Job Description: This role is central to the planning, execution, and trading of core and seasonal product ranges across wholesale, e-commerce and retail channels. You will be responsible for managing intake, stock flow, and product data accuracy, while also supporting strategic category planning and mentoring an Assistant Merchandiser.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-season planning by managing part of the category split, presenting category range plans with accurate buy plans and financial roll-ups by channel under the guidance of the Senior Merchandiser.
  • Build and maintain quarterly range plans, including size ratios and retail allocation levels.
  • Propose new store stock packages.
  • Maintain product data integrity, including hierarchy, colour codes, RFID, weights, carton dimensions, and UPC submissions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely purchase order (PO) raising for each season.
  • Prepare and present Monday trade reports with actions for Assistant Merchandiser, including demand shortages and internal transfers.
  • Track collection sell-through %, core product availability and reallocate stock between channels.
  • Monitor e-commerce packaging levels and place POs as required.
  • Line manage and develop an Assistant Merchandiser, delegating tasks and providing coaching.
  • Oversee daily retail replenishment processes in netsuite and collaborate with the retail management team to review seasonal trading insights, address stock requests, and respond to localized store demands.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a merchandising role within an apparel business.
  • Hands-on involvement in range planning, stock management, and PO processes.
  • Exposure to multi-channel operations (wholesale, retail and e-commerce).
  • Experience working with suppliers and supporting seasonal planning cycles.
  • Proficient in merchandising tools and systems, including Excel and inventory management platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail for maintaining product data accuracy and integrity.
