THIS ROLE IS BASED IN OUR CHESTERFIELD OFFICE MONDAY - FRIDAY 9-5. NO HYBRID WORKING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily supplier liaison, managing the coordination of inbound shipments into US, UK, and EU warehouses directly from factories across Asia and Europe.
  • Identify consolidation opportunities across factories and regions to secure optimal freight rates and maintain strong carrier service levels.
  • Monitor all active shipments, ensuring accurate and timely system updates on delivery status and shipping information.
  • Communicate delays or discrepancies promptly to relevant internal teams to support proactive issue resolution.
  • Manage and review freight forwarder costings, ensuring competitive rates and accurate invoicing.
  • Provide routing, leadtime, and transit data to support financial planning and forecasting schedules.
  • Support merchandising teams with origin duties, import requirements, and product classification guidance for US, UK, and EU markets.
  • Managing changes and amendments on PO’s, quantity changes, price updates or delivery shift in the NetSuite ERP. Ensuring all amendments are logged, approved and communicated to suppliers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Operations (US/UK/EU), Ecommerce, and Sales to ensure customer delivery windows are consistently achieved.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and adhoc reports for operational and commercial use.
  • Drive best practice improvements across intake planning and shipment processes.
  • Report directly to the Senior Merchandiser.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Knowledge regarding international shipping documents and imports is essential.
  • Highly organised, numerical, and analytical with attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a fast-paced team.
  • Full time role based at our Chesterfield Office within the merchandising team.
