A focused and experienced accessories designer to join our thriving team. Attention to detail is essential, as we obsess about every style that goes into our collections. You must be able to follow direction, whilst bringing your own creativity and ideas to the role. You must be proven at taking ownership of projects, whilst being comfortable working as part of a team.
The role includes:
- Working with key stakeholders in the creation of accessory collections to sit alongside our apparel collections.
- Taking ownership of projects and capsules, from inspiration and concept, through to launch.
- Presentation of ideas and concepts to management teams.
- Responsible for technical drawings, detailed specs, and comments.
- Working with Director of Product & Lead Creative Designers on the evolution of categories.
- Communicating and working in tandem with our Development team to realise designs to a high standard appropriate for the Varley brand.
- Working closely with development/production team to streamline product creation process.
- Working with Lead Designers to ensure the global calendar is followed & deadlines are met.
What you’ll need:
- Essential:
- Degree in Fashion/Product Design or Equivalent
- Strong experience in Women’s Accessories Design roles (4+ years)
- Advanced Illustrator & Photoshop skills
- Deep understanding of materials and trims.
- Experience in creating detailed Spec’s and Tech Packs.
- Factory & Production experience
- Strong Presentation and communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage several projects in tandem
- In House, Brand Experience
- Advantageous:
- 3D Design Experience
- Luxury Accessories experience
