Vargo is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Product Manager to join a collaborative team of consultants and specialists, supporting the delivery of a large-scale transformation programme made up of multiple product teams. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership across product delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for clients while driving high standards of product management and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Define product strategies and translate them into clear delivery plans.
- Manage delivery across scope, budget and timelines using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
- Lead delivery meetings and encourage collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and operational teams.
- Keep teams focused on priorities and remove delivery obstacles.
- Work closely with consultants, technical teams and external partners to deliver effective user‑focused solutions.
- Review and sign off user stories, sprint plans and deliverables against agreed standards.
- Encourage continuous improvement to strengthen collaboration, efficiency and quality.
- Keep user needs at the centre of delivery and decision‑making.
- Support team growth through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Act as a reliable and valued partner across engagements.
- Contribute to account planning and business development initiatives.
- Identify client challenges and help shape potential solutions and opportunities.
- Support networking, bid writing, presentations, market research and thought leadership activities to strengthen the sales pipeline.
