The Role
- Business Partnering: Acting as the core interface between finance and operational budget holders, challenging non-finance stakeholders, and translating complex data to support strategic decision-making.
- Commercial Analysis: Interrogating management information, building performance dashboards, and identifying operational risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Core Finance: Leading the preparation of robust financial plans, complex budgets, and rolling forecasts for assigned business areas.
The Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with a proven track record of business partnering or financial management within a large, complex organisation or large scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements.
- Advanced Excel capability and high-level proficiency with financial systems.
