North West, North East and South East locations are particularly welcome; the Midlands will also be considered.Type: Full-time, permanentOur client is an established alternative lender supporting SME businesses with unsecured loans of up to 500,000 through two managed funds. Lending opportunities are available across the UK, subject to the relevant fund's eligibility criteria.This autonomous role centres on developing and managing broker and introducer relationships: approximately 98% of the client's business comes through broker introductions. You will build new relationships, maintain an existing introducer network and turn introductions into lending opportunities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain productive broker and introducer relationships.Originate SME lending opportunities and manage the pipeline through assessment and drawdown.Assess financial information, structure lending proposals and prepare clear credit reports.Work closely with credit and operations colleagues on underwriting and loan completion.Manage an extensive territory, attend relevant networking events and report on pipeline and lending activity.RequirementsCandidates from any industry will be considered where they can demonstrate relevant business development capability and the credit skills needed for SME lending.
