Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

Location: twice a week in Aberdare

Salary: up to £50k

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and network services (DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Oversee Windows 10/11, Exchange Online, SharePoint, mobile devices, and end-user hardware support.
  • Deploy connectivity solutions (Fiber, LTE, Starlink) and monitor networks using tools like Nagios.
  • Manage IT security solutions, SSL certificates, and CCTV systems.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades and network installations, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
  • Provide advanced technical support, resolving complex IT issues.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to IT strategy development.
  • Manage IT budgets and perform on-site installations and maintenance as needed.
  • Travel to remote locations to ensure IT service continuity.
