Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist
Location: twice a week in Aberdare
Salary: up to £50k
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and network services (DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, firewalls).
- Oversee Windows 10/11, Exchange Online, SharePoint, mobile devices, and end-user hardware support.
- Deploy connectivity solutions (Fiber, LTE, Starlink) and monitor networks using tools like Nagios.
- Manage IT security solutions, SSL certificates, and CCTV systems.
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades and network installations, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
- Provide advanced technical support, resolving complex IT issues.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to IT strategy development.
- Manage IT budgets and perform on-site installations and maintenance as needed.
- Travel to remote locations to ensure IT service continuity.
