The Role
As the Senior DevOps Engineer (and DevOps SME within the business), you will be responsible for building and maintaining the automated pipelines (CI/CD) that move code safely to Production without issue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Release: Designing reliable CI/CD pipelines with minimal manual steps (automated deployments, rollbacks, testing).
- Cloud Architecture: Designing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Environment Management: Managing multiple environments (Test, Staging, Production) and ensuring smooth transitions between them.
- Source Control: Managing Git workflows, branching strategies, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Quality Gatekeeping: Integrating automated testing and code quality checks directly into the deployment pipeline.
Tech Stack
- Cloud: Azure
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- CI/CD: Deep experience building automated pipelines, specifically using Azure DevOps.
- Containerisation: Docker, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell (preferred), Bash, or Python.
- Observability: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- SaaS: Salesforce and/or Mulesoft.
DevOps experience would be a plus but is not essential.
