A highly profitable manufacturing organisation is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and costing. This is a key operational role, ensuring the financial integrity of the business across multiple sites.

Main Duties

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and analysing accurate financial statements and management accounts in line with recognised standards.
  • Operations & Costing: Overseeing daily financial operations (including AP/AR) and directly supporting the Operations team with costing projects.
  • Commercial Analysis: Analysing financial data to identify operational trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
  • Systems & Compliance: Maintaining financial systems, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and liaising with external auditors.
  • Team & Administration: Supervising the finance team, processing payroll, and managing the HR portal.

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Hands-on experience in Manufacturing/Engineering or from a top-tier accounting firm.
  • Must hold a valid driving licence to facilitate travel between UK sites.
